Description
The Golf Club at Newcastle, operated by Oki Golf, is hiring an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to support golf course and clubhouse grounds maintenance, turf management, landscaping, irrigation, pesticide application, equipment maintenance, and related facility upkeep. The role also supervises and develops turf department staff, assists with hiring, scheduling, payroll administration, budgeting, inventory, purchasing, safety compliance, and guest-service standards. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in turf science, landscape, agronomy, or a similar field (or equivalent experience), a restricted pesticide license, knowledge of irrigation and mechanical systems, and supervisory and communication skills. The position pays $24.00–$26.00 per hour, is eligible for overtime, and full-time team members receive health, retirement, vacation, and other benefits.
