NC State University is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor for a dual appointment between the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams at Michigan State University and the local facilities at NC State and the Triangle Universities Nuclear Laboratory. The role involves conducting rare-isotope and experimental nuclear physics research, leading an independent research program, developing externally funded research, and teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in nuclear physics or a closely related discipline, with postdoctoral experience and a record of nuclear-physics research accomplishments preferred.
