Microsoft is hiring an Advanced Cloud Engineer to serve as the primary engineering contact for strategic Azure customers. The role leads critical and complex technical incidents, supports customer Azure initiatives, performs root-cause analysis, applies diagnostics and AI/automation, and represents customer needs to product and engineering teams. Candidates need a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, hands-on Azure or equivalent technology expertise, enterprise-scale troubleshooting experience, customer-facing experience, and on-call incident leadership experience. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $102,100-$202,200 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
