Adapt is hiring a full-time Backend Engineer to help build an agentic platform for Property & Casualty insurance. The role involves solving hard backend and automation problems, designing and implementing end-to-end workflows, defining technology and architecture, and contributing to internal tools and processes. Candidates need at least four years of professional backend or full-stack engineering experience, a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, early-stage startup experience, and willingness to live in or relocate to the Bay Area to work in the San Francisco office.
