Description
The Bus Driver safely transports students to and from home, between schools, and on district-sponsored trips, while monitoring students at stops, loading and unloading them, reporting delays or accidents, performing vehicle inspections, and assisting with discipline and emergency procedures. The role may also perform administrative or clerical tasks when not operating a bus. No professional work experience is required, but applicants must hold a Colorado driver’s license, a Class B CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements, CPR and First Aid certification, and pass required background and motor vehicle screenings.
