Description
The Cloud Data Architect will design and implement scalable enterprise-wide data architecture, including data lakehouse and data warehouse solutions, data movement, data services, access patterns, and governance. The role leads enterprise data platform strategy, defines reference architectures and coding standards, mentors data engineering teams, and ensures data quality, security, compliance, and HIPAA standards. It is a full-time remote position for a candidate residing in North Carolina, with travel to the Morrisville, North Carolina home office as needed. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and at least five years of cloud data architecture experience, with a Microsoft Databricks certification preferred and an Azure Security certification also preferred.
