Description
SCHUNK is hiring a CNC Lathe Setup Operator for a second shift from 2:45 p.m. to 1:20 a.m., Monday through Thursday. The role independently sets up, operates, and optimizes CNC turning centers with bar feeders to manufacture precision workholding and tooling products. Responsibilities include preparing jobs from technical drawings, selecting and loading tooling, adjusting machine parameters, performing in-process and final inspections, troubleshooting machining issues, maintaining tooling and equipment, and supporting continuous improvement. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three years of CNC turning experience, and proficiency with CNC lathes, engineering drawings, GD&T, precision measurement, and machining processes.
