Description
The CNC Mill-Turn Machine Setup Operator independently sets up and operates multi-axis mill-turn machines and robotic machine-tending systems to manufacture SCHUNK tooling, workholding, and automation products. The role covers tooling installation, CNC program loading and offset adjustment, robotic system configuration, first-piece and in-process quality inspections, production monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous improvement. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three years of CNC machining experience, blueprint and GD&T interpretation skills, tooling and fixture experience, precision-measuring proficiency, and strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
