Description
PPG is hiring an Aerospace Production CNC Operator in Grand Prairie, Texas, for a second shift from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM at $30.38 per hour. The role operates and programs Zimmermann portal/gantry milling systems, reads engineering drawings and CAD/CAM files, writes and optimizes CNC programs, performs inspections and quality checks, troubleshoots machine and tooling issues, maintains production records, and collaborates with engineering, quality, and production teams. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of hands-on CNC machining experience, five-axis machining experience, and knowledge of CNC control systems, GD&T, precision measurement, and cutting parameters; aerospace, Zimmermann, and lean manufacturing experience are preferred.
