The New Hanover County 911 Center is hiring a Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) Coordinator to provide technical and operational support for the CAD system used across multiple public safety agencies. The role performs system maintenance, configuration, data management, user-account administration, resource setup, response-plan optimization, geographic-data maintenance, workflow configuration, and support for PURVIS, ProQA, and AQUA software. The position works Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with availability for emergency situations, and offers a target hiring range of $56,351 to $76,074, with an incumbent range of $56,351 to $95,797. An associate’s degree in a relevant field and three years of computer installation and troubleshooting experience, or equivalent training and experience, are required; ENP certification is preferred, and DCI certification is required.
