Planate Management Group is hiring a Construction Inspector in Wilmington, North Carolina, to provide daily inspection and quality compliance oversight for a four-year marine construction project to recapitalize Pier Mike at a United States Coast Guard base. The role involves reviewing drawings and specifications, monitoring multiple construction trades, identifying and tracking deficiencies, preparing reports, organizing digital inspection photographs, maintaining project records, and communicating findings to contractors and stakeholders. Applicants need either 10 years of relevant construction experience or 5 years plus a four-year engineering degree and/or recent PE, PMP, or QA/QC certification, along with knowledge of construction trades, building codes, and basic reporting software.
