Description
The Construction Manager (CM) will oversee all on-site construction functions in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, managing new plant construction, retrofits, renovations, process improvements, maintenance, and infrastructure projects. The CM will collaborate with engineering and construction departments to develop and implement execution strategies, ensuring safety and efficiency. Key responsibilities include generating and updating schedules, forecasting labor costs, interpreting construction documents, validating change orders, mitigating schedule risks, and completing daily logs. The CM will also supervise safety, assist in client procurement, coordinate with architects/engineers, and manage project documentation and budget. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Project, Procore, and other business technology platforms. The CM will report to the Senior Construction Manager and ultimately the Program Manager.
