Description
The Construction Technician installs, services, tests, and troubleshoots fiber-optic video, voice, and internet services for commercial and residential customers. Responsibilities include pulling low-voltage wire, installing and connecting CAT5/CAT6 drop wire, working with RF cellular systems, trenching and conduit installation, coordinating utility locates, and maintaining telecommunications equipment. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three years of cable, phone, and internet installation, testing, and troubleshooting experience, fiber-optic cabling experience, a valid driver’s license, and comfort working at heights.
