West Shore Home is hiring a Construction Trainee in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, to assist with safe and effective bathroom, flooring, window, and door installations. The role involves loading materials, traveling to customer homes, greeting customers, demoing existing tub or shower areas, installing tubs, pans, wall surrounds, and updating plumbing as needed, cleaning the work area, and collecting paperwork and payment. The position requires carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction experience or a willingness to learn, basic hand- and power-tool knowledge, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and access to a smartphone or smart device. Compensation is approximately $17-$20 per hour, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, HSA, paid time off, and other benefits.
