Generation Hope is hiring a full-time Controller in Washington, D.C., with a hybrid schedule requiring in-office work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The role oversees accounting, fund accounting, financial reporting, grant compliance, audits, tax filings, budgeting, cash flow, and accounting systems, while managing an outsourced accounting team and partnering with program, advancement, and leadership teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, at least seven years of progressive financial management experience including three years in a growing nonprofit managing a multi-million-dollar budget, and strong GAAP, fund-tracking, and nonprofit accounting-systems expertise; CPA designation is strongly preferred. Compensation is $130,000–$160,000, with health, dental, 403(b), and paid time off benefits.
