Description
The Controls Service Technician supports building automation systems, service and monitoring contracts, system upgrades, facility up-fits, and time-and-material jobs. The role installs, services, commissions, diagnoses, repairs, and programs BAS systems; performs preventive maintenance and site surveys; coordinates on-site work; documents jobs; supports HVAC field technicians; provides customer and technical support; and may travel overnight. The position requires an associate's degree or equivalent in HVAC, computer science, or a related field, at least three years of related experience, familiarity with Trane and other HVAC products, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work outdoors and in mechanical rooms.
