Description
The Cook prepares meals and snacks in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local food-service standards, reviews menus, follows food-safety guidelines, and supports regular and special-diet meal planning as prescribed by physicians and dieticians. The position prefers one year of dietary or food-service experience in a hospital, nursing-care facility, or related medical setting, requires State Food Service Sanitation certification, and prefers a Food Sanitation License.
