Description
Ferris State University is hiring a full-time Custodian for its Big Rapids main campus. The role pays $17.88 per hour and runs on a 12-month continuing term, with a 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. schedule. Duties include cleaning and disinfecting facilities, changing linens, emptying waste, removing snow and ice, maintaining supplies and equipment, responding to emergency custodial requests, and performing other assigned maintenance and cleaning tasks. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial, hospital, school, or cleaning-service environment, or completion of the university’s JANUS custodial training, plus a valid driver’s license.
