Description
The System Security Engineer supports Special Access Programs and SMC/AFSPC acquisition programs by providing day-to-day cybersecurity oversight for collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information, and SAP activities. The role leads a team of System Security Engineers and Certification and Accreditation Analysts, chairs or co-chairs cybersecurity working groups, oversees security policy and SAP network integration, provides risk-management and accreditation guidance, supports mission and training systems, and works with approval and accreditation authorities to obtain Authorization to Operate. The position requires 12–15 years of experience, including at least 8 years in an SCI or SAR environment, a related bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, DoD 8570 Level 3 certifications, a current Top Secret clearance with active SCI eligibility, and willingness to travel within the Area of Responsibility. Compensation is projected at $127,400–$167,400, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, disability, and other benefits.
