Samsara is hiring a remote Data Engineer for its Data team, responsible for designing and maintaining reliable data pipelines and computed tables that ingest and transform IoT device and software-product data into a central data lake. The role supports analytics, model training, causal inference, and dashboarding, and requires a computer science, statistics, or related degree, at least four years of data engineering experience, Spark-based data platforms, SQL, Python, REST APIs, and version control. The position is open to candidates residing in Canada and offers an annual base salary of CAD 110,500–143,000, with eligibility for an initial RSU grant and ongoing performance-based refresh opportunities.
