VAS is hiring a Data Engineer to design, build, and improve data solutions supporting reporting, analytics, and AI/ML workloads. The role focuses on Databricks, ETL/ELT pipelines, batch and streaming architectures, data quality, data warehousing, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and Microsoft Azure. Responsibilities include developing scalable pipelines, troubleshooting performance and reliability issues, integrating data sources, and partnering with business and IT teams. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree, hands-on Databricks experience with Python, Spark, and Delta Lake, SQL Server and data warehousing experience, SSIS and SSRS experience, Microsoft Azure experience, and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
