Description
The Clinical Data Manager performs clinical data management functions, including data entry, database coding, query generation and review, quality control, test data creation, and project documentation. The role also supervises and mentors Data Management Interns, provides functional oversight of data processing activities, reports project status and data trends, and assists with staffing assignments. It requires an associate’s degree or equivalent in a scientific, computer, or related discipline, one year of related clinical data management experience, knowledge of relational databases and clinical data management systems, and the ability to work with multiple clinical protocols.
