Description
The GitLab Platform Operations Engineer will maintain and operate production and pre-production GitLab environments, perform upgrades and patching, manage Geo replication and shared runners, automate secret rotation and infrastructure as code, monitor services, handle SNOW tickets, and participate in on-call and incident response. The role requires at least four years of platform engineering, DevOps, or production platform operations experience, along with strong GitLab, Linux, infrastructure as code, monitoring, containerization, and networking skills. It is a mature, mission-critical platform role within an existing engineering team, with US timezone coverage.
