Amgen is hiring a Director EHSS to lead corporate environmental, health, and safety programs at its North Carolina drug substance manufacturing facility. The role oversees compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; audits and risk assessments; regulatory and stakeholder engagement; program planning and budgeting; and the development of standards, training, and investigations. It requires a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degree combined with the specified years of Environmental Health and Safety experience, plus managerial or leadership experience. The position directs subordinate supervisors or team leaders and reports to senior management.
