Description
Lenovo is hiring a Director of Forward Deployed Engineering to lead a team of engineers embedded across business functions as part of its company-wide AI transformation program. The director will identify high-value AI opportunities, translate business needs into practical solutions, guide rapid prototyping and deployment, drive user adoption and measurable business outcomes, and establish scalable FDE operating practices, playbooks, standards, and talent-development methods. The role requires strong technical leadership, experience managing engineering teams, hands-on expertise with AI and automation solutions, and at least 15 years of relevant experience. It is full-time and eligible for remote work, with hybrid scheduling available near Lenovo’s Chicago or Raleigh offices.
