AWS is hiring an EC2 Local Storage Software Engineer to develop and operate large-scale instance storage features in the Instance Storage data plane. The role owns the design, implementation, and operation of a massive-scale storage system, works with product managers and engineers, and supports customers from startups to enterprises. The position requires at least five years of software development or related experience and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field; embedded firmware, server or distributed systems, device drivers, firmware management, and NVMe experience are preferred. The role is based in Santa Clara, California, with a base salary of $165,200 to $223,600 annually.
