The Electrical Designer 2 provides electrical and mechanical design services for engineering projects, including protection and control panel layouts, wiring diagrams, substation structures, equipment foundations, transmission line plans, and related drawings. The role requires an associate degree in Computer Aided Design or Engineering Technology, at least five years of experience in electric utility substation or industrial medium-voltage systems design, AutoCAD proficiency, and familiarity with utility and industrial equipment. The position may require travel of up to 25%, occasional overtime, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds while wearing required personal protective equipment.
