Description
The Electrical Engineer will design, analyze, and execute electrical systems for building, infrastructure, and mission-critical projects supporting the Department of the Air Force at MacDill Air Force Base. Responsibilities include power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, communications, load and short-circuit studies, construction drawings, quality control, permitting, site investigations, commissioning, and coordination with government clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams. The role requires an ABET-certified electrical engineering degree, at least five years of building-related electrical design experience, a Florida-eligible Professional Engineer license, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance. Compensation is $115,000–$140,000, with health, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
