Evertz Microsystems is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer in Burlington, Ontario, for an in-office position working Monday through Friday for 40 hours. The role involves designing, implementing, debugging, and maintaining embedded software and firmware; adapting products to new requirements; providing hardware and firmware integration; and supporting production implementations. Candidates need an engineering or computer science degree, at least one year of experience, C/C++/Python and Qt skills, and experience with real-time operating systems, embedded Linux, FreeRTOS, device drivers, digital hardware, and communication interfaces. The salary range is $60,000 to $90,000 CAD per year.
