Evertz is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer for its Markham Engineering team to design, develop, maintain, and extend embedded software and firmware for broadcast and IP routing or switching products. The role focuses on Linux-based platforms, real-time software, RTOS concepts, hardware/software interfaces, board-level integration, and troubleshooting. Candidates need a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong C and C++ skills, embedded Linux knowledge, and 2–5 years of hands-on embedded software development experience. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, and offers a salary range of $75,000 to $120,000 per year depending on experience.
