Description
McKim & Creed is hiring an Electrical PE/EIT Engineer for its Water Business Unit in the North Carolina market, with offices in Charlotte, Raleigh, or Wilmington. The role develops and completes municipal water and wastewater electrical engineering projects, including treatment plants, pump stations, and related infrastructure; it covers electrical design, review, construction support, QA/QC, client coordination, permitting, specifications, drawings, and system optimization. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, PE registration or EIT licensure within one year, 4–8+ years of professional experience, and extensive experience with medium- and low-voltage distribution systems, electrical equipment, electrical drawings, emergency backup systems, AutoCAD or Revit, Arc Flash software, NEC and NFPA 780, and field investigations.
