Description

OnLogic is hiring a Firmware Engineer to develop and sustain firmware and software for industrial computing products across ARM, x86, and microcontroller architectures. The role covers ARM device drivers, Linux drivers, x86 UEFI/BIOS, firmware debugging, prototype validation, product certification, issue tracking, and customer-support activities. It requires an onsite presence in South Burlington, Vermont, or Cary, North Carolina, and offers a salary of $100,000 to $120,000 plus benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
Required Previous Experiences: At least 2 years of firmware development experience, preferably with ARM SoCs in the industrial PC industry
Experience collaborating across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and product testing disciplines
Experience with embedded firmware and JTAG-based debugging using logic analyzers
Experience with Git and standard software development processes
Desirable experience with ARM64 SoCs, including their architecture and operation
Preferred experience with device trees in an ARM environment
Experience designing x86 or ARM-based motherboards, ideally for industrial applications
Preferred Qualifications: Firmware development with ARM SoCs in the industrial PC industry
