Description
Brex is hiring a Fraud Operations Associate to manage transaction fraud, first-party fraud, and account takeover operations. The role owns fraud queues, develops scalable processes, makes risk-based decisions, handles escalations and incident investigations, and leads projects with Policy, Data Science, and Engineering. It is based in Salt Lake City in a hybrid arrangement requiring at least three coordinated office days per week, with up to four weeks of fully remote work annually. Candidates need at least three years of fraud, risk, or related operations experience, one year of project or workstream leadership experience, data investigation skills, and strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with SQL, AI tools, people management, or fintech, payments, and banking experience is a bonus. The expected salary range is $76,800-$96,000 USD, with equity and other compensation potentially included.
