Description
Sharp HealthCare is hiring an Imaging Center patient transport and procedural support employee to escort, transfer, monitor, and maintain the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures. The role also supports radiographic and digital image handling, patient-document scanning, specimen transport, communication with nursing and imaging staff, tracking and clerical workflows, and general department teamwork. AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals certification is required; a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of patient-care experience are preferred. The position has variable shifts totaling 8 hours per shift/40 hours per week, may require weekends as needed, has no on-call requirement, and is covered by a SEIU-UHW collective bargaining agreement.
