Description
Tarleton State University is hiring an Instructor for Mechanical Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering in a shared appointment across its Engineering Technology and Mechanical, Environmental, and Civil Engineering departments. The nine-month non-tenure-track position is based on the RELLIS campus in Bryan, Texas, with work hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or as teaching requirements indicate. The role focuses on undergraduate and graduate teaching, course development, assessment, student mentoring, and academic service, and requires a master's degree in the teaching discipline and strong communication skills. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship and has an anticipated start date of Spring 2026.
