KBR is hiring a Jr Software Developer Astro Engineer for its National Security Solutions team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The role supports space-domain awareness, satellite communications, and defense technology through secure, cloud-native, containerized, and automated software development. Responsibilities include developing applications in languages such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, and GoLang; working with databases and Kubernetes or Docker; using CI/CD, GitOps, DevSecOps, AWS, Ansible, and infrastructure-as-code practices; and contributing to service-mesh and network-security initiatives. The position is on-site with minimal travel, requires Top Secret with SCI clearance and two years of relevant experience, and offers a basic compensation range of $110,000 to $130,000.
