LaBella is seeking a Junior Structural Engineer/Designer to join their Building Engineering Division in Chattanooga, TN. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a Senior Structural Engineer, developing concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications, and reports. Responsibilities include determining structural loading criteria, performing complex design calculations, preparing structural specifications, conducting field investigations, collaborating with other engineering and architectural disciplines, producing construction documents using Revit (BIM), reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and performing field observations during the CA phase. The role involves working on various project types such as K-12 and higher education, municipal, healthcare, industrial, and commercial projects.
