Description
The Lead Accountant supports the Assistant Vice Provost for Business Operations in managing budgets, forecasting, financial reporting, reconciliations, internal controls, compliance, and audit readiness across NCSCaLE business units. The role supervises an Accountant I, collaborates with department heads and university stakeholders, and requires post-baccalaureate credentials plus 1–2 years of experience, with a bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of experience accepted on an exceptional basis. The position is full-time, based in Raleigh, North Carolina, with three work days on site, and pays $68,000–$80,000.
