Description
The Lead Embedded Software Engineer will lead embedded software development for custom avionics data storage and transfer products, covering architecture, requirements, design, implementation, integration, verification, configuration management, and certification documentation. The role requires strong C programming, experience with embedded Linux and/or VxWorks, hardware/software integration, device drivers, networking, file systems, multicore and multithreaded systems, and support for systems engineering activities. A bachelor’s degree, at least five years of software design and development experience or successful completion of the GE Edison Engineering Program, U.S. work authorization, and U.S. citizenship status are required.
