Samsara is hiring a Lead Machine Learning Infrastructure Engineer to serve as the technical anchor for ML infrastructure across its Safety AI organization. The role owns the architecture and end-to-end delivery of training, experimentation, batch and online inference, and edge deployment across more than 2 million deployed devices, while partnering with applied ML, security, data platform, firmware, and edge teams. Responsibilities include designing scalable inference systems, deploying models to devices, managing reliability and security, leading technical delivery, mentoring engineers, and contributing to open source. The position is remote for candidates based in the United States and offers an annual base salary of CAD 196,000–269,500, plus RSUs and other benefits.
