Curtiss-Wright is hiring a Lead Mechanical Engineer for its onsite Round Rock, Texas business unit. The role leads the design, development, testing, and technical qualification of nuclear-qualified mechanical components, sensors, instrumentation, and systems. Responsibilities include applying ASME codes, leading multidisciplinary engineering teams, producing compliant design and manufacturing deliverables, reviewing FEA and scoping calculations, preparing proposals and estimates, managing technical issues and change control, and providing engineering guidance. The position requires U.S. citizenship, a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent, a Professional Engineer license, at least 10 years of applicable manufacturing-environment experience, nuclear standards knowledge, and advanced SOLIDWORKS proficiency.
