Laporte Consultants is seeking a full-time Lead Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding team. This newly created role involves leading projects and managing mechanical and piping projects in the pharmaceutical and food & beverage industries. The successful candidate will develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs, mentor the mechanical team, manage contracts and client relations, and ensure quality review of deliverables. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, extensive design engineering experience, particularly in agrifood, bioindustrial, F&B, and pharmaceutical sectors, and strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical codes.
