WSP is hiring a Lead Senior Civil Engineer - Solid Waste Engineering to lead project teams and manage large-scale civil and environmental engineering projects involving solid waste facilities, permitting, landfill gas management, stormwater, operations planning, and construction quality assurance. The role requires periodic overnight travel and fieldwork in Texas, with work locations potentially including Houston, Austin, San Antonio, or Dallas. Responsibilities include directing design and construction teams, preparing engineering reports and proposals, managing budgets and subcontractors, interacting with clients and regulatory agencies, mentoring staff, and supporting the development of the civil engineering business. The position requires a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field, valid Texas PE registration, and at least 10 years of post-education civil engineering design experience.
