Checkout.com is hiring a Commercial Counsel in its London headquarters to own the commercial contract pipeline and handle drafting, negotiation, and closing of strategic partner, customer, and supplier agreements. The role also involves resolving contract interpretation issues, advising on commercial legal risks and special projects, conducting multijurisdictional research, and supporting strategic initiatives. Candidates should be qualified solicitors or lawyers with 3–7 post-qualification years of experience, ideally in fintech, payments, software, e-commerce, banking, startups, or international cross-border matters. The position follows a hybrid model with three days per week in the office.
