Description
Shield AI is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to lead the development of advanced machine learning solutions for perception in autonomous systems. The role owns challenging technical problems, develops and deploys vision, vision-language, and vision-language-action models, builds data pipelines and evaluation frameworks, optimizes models for embedded hardware, and translates research into production capabilities. The engineer will collaborate with perception, autonomy, platform, and software teams and mentor engineers. The position requires substantial related experience, a relevant degree or equivalent experience, expertise in computer vision and machine learning frameworks, proficiency in C++ and Python, and the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
