Description
Standex International is hiring a Machinist to report to the Manufacturing Manager and set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot precision machine tools such as milling machines, boring mills, engine lathes, tracer lathes, drill presses, and machining centers. The role involves interpreting drawings and process plans, selecting speeds, feeds, tooling, and operational sequences, performing turning, boring, reaming, facing, threading, grinding, and other machining operations, and maintaining quality and work-area standards. The schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and the position requires a high school diploma or GED, five years of machining experience, a valid OSHA forklift license, and 1C and 3A hoisting licenses.
