Northrop Grumman is hiring an Embedded Software Engineering Manager to lead a section of approximately 10–15 software engineers in its San Diego Engineering and Sciences Software and Digital Technologies department. The manager will handle staffing, recruiting, training, performance management, compensation, career progression, and software engineering processes while also working approximately 80% on communications-system programs in the Fighter Networked Systems and Advanced Comms & Networks operating units. The role requires a BS plus five years of related STEM experience or an MS plus three years, C/C++ and object-oriented programming proficiency, an active Secret Clearance, and full-time on-site work at the Rancho Carmel facility. The primary salary range is $133,000 to $199,600, with potential overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and benefits.
