Samtec is hiring a Manufacturing Production Operator for its Optical Engine assembly area in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The second-shift role runs Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM and involves inspecting advanced products, operating semiconductor backend equipment such as wirebonders and automated die-attach equipment, handling silicon wafers, using precision metrology and inspection microscopes, and maintaining cleanroom standards. The position requires at least one year of production, manufacturing, or inspection experience, computer literacy, and a high school diploma or equivalent; on-the-job training is provided. Starting pay is $20.25 per hour, with a quality bonus, shift differential, and comprehensive benefits.
