Description
The Mechanical Engineer in the Minor Modifications team supports Columbia Generating Station by developing and implementing engineering changes, small-scale design modifications, equipment updates, and configuration improvements that maintain plant reliability, functionality, and regulatory compliance. The role performs complex engineering analyses and designs, works with minimal supervision, provides technical leadership and mentorship, and supports emergency response, outage, and engineering duty-cycle activities. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and either seven years of engineering experience for the Principal level or three years for the Senior level, with on-site work in Richland, Washington.
