Energy Northwest is hiring a Mechanical Engineer – Commercial Building Design to work onsite in Richland, Washington. The role develops mechanical construction drawings, performs heating and cooling load calculations, designs and coordinates HVAC, water, sanitary waste, sewer, and controls systems, supports permitting, conducts site surveys and punch-list inspections, prepares cost estimates, and identifies value-engineering opportunities for medium- to large-scale commercial projects. The position requires a professional engineering license or eligibility for Washington State reciprocity, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and substantial commercial building mechanical design experience.
